Runtime simulator
How long will the power station last?
Pick your devices, station and location. Wattpass calculates runtime hour by hour, including inverter losses, the station's idle draw, startup surges and solar yield where you are.
Energy flow: EcoFlow DELTA 2; use 1,801 Wh per day.

- Idle draw of 18 W is an estimate. Adjustable under "Fine-tuning".
- Continuous and surge ratings are sufficient for these devices.
01 Devices
Typical values; check your device's nameplate.
- Refrigerator
- Wi-Fi router
- LED lamp
Per day: 1,224 Wh at the devices, 1,801 Wh from the battery (with losses and idle draw).
02 Station
Watts (W) = what can run at the same time. Watt-hours (Wh) = how long it lasts.

03 Sun and recharging
Chicago, IL
Recharge from outlet or car
Fine-tuning Typical, start 8 am
Conservative assumes an aged battery, lower efficiency and less sun.
Default 18 W is an estimate without a manufacturer figure.
How the simulator calculates
- Not all rated capacity is usable: depth of discharge (LFP 95%, NMC 85%), battery health and cold are deducted.
- While any AC device is switched on, the inverter runs and draws its idle power, even when the device pauses. A load-dependent conversion loss comes on top.
- Fridges cycle on and off; motors and compressors need a multiple of their running watts at startup. That is checked against the station's surge rating.
- Solar yield comes from the month's peak sun hours at your location and is capped at the station's solar input.
